A DMX engine usable either standalone (replaying uploaded shows) or as a DMX output device controlled by another e:cue server.

The Butler S2 is a DMX engine that either replays and loops previously uploaded lighting shows in standalone mode, or acts as a DMX output device controlled by another e:cue server over e:net. Programmed via a PC or the e:cue Lighting Control Engine, one compact unit controls up to 1024 DMX channels across two universes, storing up to 99 cuelists on a microSD card; clustering more units scales channel control up to 16,384. Powered by an external 12–24 V DC supply or 48 V DC PoE, with a 7-segment LED for status.
